Reabrook Ltd are an employee-owned trust, based at the heart of the National Forest in Derbyshire. We are a manufacturer of aerosol and liquid chemical products who have been meeting the changing requirements of our customers for over 50 years, manufacturing specialist cleaning and degreasing solutions for the following sectors:
- Aerospace
- Rail
- Engineering
- Automotive
- Energy
- Marine
We are looking to recruit the post of Business Development Manager – Arrow Solutions, reporting to the Head of Sales.
This will be a field-based role with home working, and working from the office one day a week. For this hybrid role, attendance to head office will be required, as well as travel to other sites. Both will be dependent on organisational requirements.

Main Purpose
- Proactively identify, target and convert new business opportunities
- Retain and support existing customer and distributor base
- Achieve sales and competency targets as laid out by the business
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for Arrow within agreed timescales, covering the UK and overseas as required
- Proactively manage the ‘bids and tender’ process when required
- Identify new business opportunities and build a national and international winnable new business pipeline
- Manage existing customers service and support expectations whilst growing new business sales
- To complete all administration, reports and requests on time and within guidelines
- To communicate and support internal departments – specifically sales, sales admin, accounts, product and technical – to ensure that everyone concerned has input to, or knowledge of, new business opportunities and prospects, process and progress
- To ensure the customer and/or distributor partner is supported with all appropriate information and support to ensure the safe and effective use of the products
- To represent Arrow Solutions and the Reabrook group in a professional and ethical manner at all times
- To attend sales meetings, conferences, exhibitions and training courses as required
- To achieve and exceed sales target and objectives in the manner set out
The position of Business Development Manager requires a disciplined candidate who can work autonomously and is able to communicate with multiple external and internal stakeholders. The ideal applicant must therefore be self-motivated, and in addition possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A suitable qualification in business or sales, or demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Experience of the industrial and manufacturing sector is preferred, but not essential – experience within any of the sectors outlined above would be advantageous
- Knowledge and competency of computer packages such as MS Office
- Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external
