Changes to UK BPR that could affect you
The Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) refers to Regulation (EU) 528/2012 concerning the use of biocidal products which was adopted by the UK following BREXIT. BPR covers the responsibilities of biocidal product manufacturers and suppliers this is now regulated by the HSE for the UK see https://www.hse.gov.uk/biocides/ for more details.
Changes in BPR
The changes for manufacturing will come into effect November 2023, whilst product sales can continue to your customers until the end of May 2024. As a result, the below list of products are being replaced with compliant alternatives, the current products will need to be used up by the end user and changed to the replacement products below by November 2024.
