In response HYSO have developed the world's first 'Automatic Door Handle Cleaning System' to signifantly reduce the risk of bacterial transfer. Now, even if people do not wash their hands as frequently or as thoroughly as they should, you can be sure that the door handle is clean when you touch it.
The door mounted unit automatically sprays the door handle with a fine, fast-drying mist which kills on contact 99.9% of bacteria including :
E-coli
MRSA
C-Difficile
Listeria
Salmonella
Staphylococcus aureas
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
The HYSO device is a programmable unit measuring 8” x 3” x 3” that is installed approximately 12” to 15” above the targeted door handle. Within the unit is an easily replaceable can of HYSO deep cleaning formula. At preset intervals manually selected by the user, the device emits a fine, fast drying mist of ethyl alcohol and quaternary ammonium compound that covers and thoroughly cleans the door handle.
No matter how many people touch the door handle, the formula ensures a bacteria-free surface. A proximity sensor detects motion within one metre of the unit ensuring the cessation of delivery, thus eliminating accidental spraying of a hand. Powered by four AA batteries (not supplied), the HYSO unit does not require special wiring into the main electric source, making it easy to install and inexpensive to operate. It also contains a light sensor, and so will power down if no ambient light is present, maximizing both formula and battery life.
